Online colleges are business. Many charge just as much or even more than ‘real’ colleges. You can’t earn a degree for free online. You could get an education, but no way to prove it. Your local community college would be the cheapest way to get an education.
Hi. You may not be able to get a degree for free. But, you can get an education.
It is still hard work. But, you can do it.
Many Universities, including MIT, are part of the “open courseware initiative.”
They make available on line, for free, all content provided to students in a given class.
For example, if you go to a psychology class, you can download the syllabus and reading list, all the assignments and even the handouts. You will have to find the books yourself. But, if you read them and work through the readings, assignments, and handouts, you can learn quite a bit without even having gone to school there.

MIT may be the best represented: http://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm
Good luck.
There are real schools that you can go to for free or cheap with grants and student loans. The loans you’ll have to pay back but it’ll be worth it with the extra money. Online schools are degree mills. Employers don’t consider online degrees a real degree.
You can join the wealthy affiliate university and be trained to earn as an internet marketer.
May be this site can help you

Well there aren’t any online schools that give quality education for free. As you very well know nothing comes for free in today’s world. Well know one site that offers the list of top accredited online colleges also the courses offered in them. One can just select the course he/she is interested in and list of colleges will appear that offer those courses. You can view the detail(accreditation, student reviews, fee structure) of each college individually. Then it will be easy for you to decide which college to go for. Just go to http://www.thedegreeexperts.com/ and access the vast sea of online education. You can also look up for grants. If you fulfill the criteria of college grant then that would really be helpful to you to learn.
Any free course isn’t going to help when it comes to the job market. Employers will want an actual degree and won’t be impressed because you took a few free classes online.
That said, there are ways to pay for your education. The first is to fill out the FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. You can then find and apply for scholarships. Your college will also match you up with their own scholarships, too.
There are four year brick and mortar colleges with Bachelor degrees (and higher), too. These degrees will have a bit of weight to them — and most won’t differentiate between a degree earned online or on-campus so no one has to know unless you tell them.
Many of them also offer certificates which do cost quite a bit but in general, online courses usually do cost less to start with anyway.
Fill out the FAFSA, speak with financial aid at the college you are considering, and see what they can do for you.
