I turned 15 and a half on April 8th, but couldn’t make it to the learner’s permit training offered through my school because of my schedule. So, is there a free and reliable course I can take online?

It has to be one that is completely free, and i don’t have to go to a testing site and take a final exam. If there is one please give me a link. Thanks.

I want to take a drivers ed course online, and I have seen alot of websites that offer them…Has anyone used an online course, because I dont know which one to chose.. Also, are there any free online courses that I can take, there’s probably not, but I just want to make sure..I live in California if that helps..THANKS

The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has approved American Safety Council to offer all versions of its online defensive driving course without quizzes or a final exam, as part of the Internet Point and Insurance Reduction Program (IPIRP).

This approval is the first of its kind for online courses by a DMV approved course provider. American Safety Council’s (ASC) defensive driving course is delivered without a single test by way of their custom identity validation process, enabling students to take the course 100% online from start to finish.

Completion of the American Safety Council IPIRP online defensive driving course provides New York drivers a mandatory 10% reduction, for three years, in the base rate of their current automobile liability, no-fault and collision premiums. Drivers also are eligible, upon completion of the course, to receive up to a four point reduction on their driving record.

“We’re trying to get the insurance benefits accessible to all New Yorkers.” said Bob Proechel, president of the American Safety Council. “Sign-up and complete our 6-hour course entirely online with no quizzes or final exam.”

American Safety Council also offers NY students 24/7 U.S. based toll-free customer support and course access. This allows students to complete the course by logging in and out as they desire, with up to 30 days to finish.  Upon completion, each student is sent a certificate of completion to present to their insurance company for the insurance discount. ASCalso automatically notifies the DMV of successful course completion to receive up to a 4 point reduction on their driving record.

“Our New York online defensive driving was created to teach effective defensive driving strategies, maximize convenience, and help those who do not have the ability to get to a live class.” said Tom Page, CEO of the American Safety Council. “We listened to the feedback. This is what New York drivers have been asking for.”

The American Safety Council offers its New York Defensive Driving course online at www.NewYorkSafetyCouncil.com. ASC and its affiliated organizations offer online traffic and workplace safety training, governmental services and professional continuing education programs, in association with state and federal regulatory agencies and court systems.

I just need to refresh on my math and a virtual course would be perfect. Is there a place online where I can re-learn algebra and trigonometry and do some sample problems?
